We had an unforgettable time at the Interactive Dhamail Workshop at The Shadwell Centre, London! The event brought together people of all backgrounds and skill levels to celebrate the vibrant traditional dance form of Bengal, deeply rooted in Sylhet and North-East India.
Guided by renowned vocal artist Gauri Chaudhury, alongside celebrated dance artists Mousumi Samantha and PK Dasgupta, participants immersed themselves in the authentic Dhamail dance style. The energy, rhythm, and storytelling woven into every movement created a truly magical experience, as attendees learned not only the steps but also the cultural significance of Dhamail.
